Free lunar new year celebrations
Among this month’s free events for lunar new year, celebrated by the Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese communities: The “Year of the Tiger” celebration at Market City will feature a taiko drum performance, lion dance, firecrackers and fortune cookies, 10 a.m.-noon tomorrow, Market City Shopping Center, in the back parking lot facing Kaimuki High School.
