How do I stop spam, except to remove them all?

I share an email address with my sister, and between us we make a lot of online shopping. Unfortunately one of us gave our e-mail to the wrong person. Now we have hundreds of spam messages in less than a half weeks. Spam guard. Is there a way to stop this, except to get a new address?
